1. Turtle
I love how happy this turtle looks! Dab on some dark green spots to it’s body to make it look more real. Don’t forget to use black craft paper to cut out a C like shape to make the smile.
2. Whales
My kids love arts and crafts with lots of glitter. This one was a real hit with them. Their favorite part was putting silver glitter glue all over the whales and using pipe cleaners to replicate water coming out of the whale’s spout.
3. Shark
I love how real the shark looks. This egg carton craft uses the spiky part of the egg carton rather than the round one. It’s super simple and turns out looking fab.
4. Octopus
Stick a purple balloon shaped craft paper piece to the egg carton and you end up with a perfect octopus head. Let your kids have fun twirling the purple pipe cleaners to make twisty octopus legs.
5. Crabs
You can use egg cartons to make the perfect little crabs. We experimented with two different ways to make its legs and I think they both ended up looking pretty darn cute.
6. Jellyfish
Got some egg cartons, string and googly eyes in the house? Your kids will love making these egg carton jellyfish which can be used as puppets too.
7. Seal
Making this innocent looking seal requires very few supplies: a good pair of scissors, paint and a black pen. You’ll have to do the cutting yourself but your kids can enjoy painting and later playing with their creation.
8. Penguins
These little penguins are super simple to make and my kids were so happy with how adorable they turned out. Use craft paper to make their tummy, beak and flappy arms.
9. Goldfish
Loving the bulging eyes, the look of the colored tissue fins and the mouth wide open. These real looking egg carton goldfish are a great fish craft to try out with your children.
10. Egg carton ocean
Made your ocean animals? Now it’s time to make them a home. Take an empty egg carton and let your kids paint it blue, cut out white circles for bubbles, add some glitter glue, cut out some seaweed using green glittery foam paper along with shells and gems. Add in your ocean animals and you end up with a super cute ocean craft.
Your kids can give the animals names, put up plays and have a wonderful time creating and playing with this craft.
